Vavi says protests will be planned across the country if the president removes the finance minister and captures Treasury.
He was speaking in Johannesburg earlier today at a briefing about a new labour federation, saying it's three weeks from being officially formed.
Vavi says while they are not a fan of Gordhan because of being anti-working class, they won't fold their arms while he's being harassed.
"We will not allow yet another state capture by the president; hands off Pravin."
He spearheaded protests last year when Nhlanhla Nene was sacked and has warned President Zuma not to remove Gordhan.
"You will see the same if not more again if you mess with the agenda."
He says there is an attempt to remove honest individuals in Treasury and state-owned enterprises with the agenda to steal as much as possible.
